I LOVE Mommy's blanket!

Well Mommy can't find her camera at the moment, so sorry, there will be no pictures with today's post. This weekend was pretty low key. I got to spend a lot of quality time with Mommy and Daddy! But, I guess there was some excitement when I rolled over! Yes, I can now roll from belly to back... And if you dont believe me there is video for proof! Mommy also caught me staring at my hand in the air while moving it around. I guess there is something cute about that. (All I know is I control this right hand of mine in ways I didn't know was possible!). I also learned that I can make noises while my mouth is closed..... Something called moaning and humming.
Mommy gave me her blanket, from when she was a little girl, to sleep with last night, and it made me so comfortable! I love it! I slept like a baby until 7am! That is 2 hours later than my usual wake up call!
My TNT for today is that Mommy noticed that when she gave me a bath... I held my head up when she shampooed the hair on the back of my head. I used to have her hold my head with one hand and shampoo with the other, which I think was a bit of a struggle for her, so I thought I would give her a hand (or neck). I guess that is something new because it shows that my neck is getting stronger, which is something I need to learn how to crawl!
SN: One thing I wish would hurry up and happen is for these darn teeth to pop threw my gums! They hurt, which makes me cranky. Sorry Mom and Dad! They keep saying I'm so sensitive, but I would like to see them grow a mouth full of teeth in less than a year! It's more like ticked off, than senstive!

Ralph got a girlfriend!

Yesterday was Da-da's birthday! He turned 26 years old. When asked if he feels older he said no, but I don't understand why.... I know that when I turn 1 I will feel much older than 5 months! I can't wait to crawl, stand, and walk! Oh yeah... And I look forward to the day people understand what I'm saying when I talk!

The weekend was fun! I got to spend time with my Nana on Saturday while Daddy and Mommy went rock climbing! Then Sunday, Grandma and Aunt Sam came over to watch over me while Daddy and Mommy went to see Rango! Grandma brought me a girlfriend for Ralph.... Her name is Rosie.... She is a bunny and there will be pictures of her to come. Daddy and Mommy said the movie is a rental. I was very surprised that Mommy never called to check on me while they were out.... She must be loosening the strings a bit. I think I will enjoy the day when I get to go everywhere with Mommy and Daddy. How come you can't take a baby, who if cries can be quieted with a bottle of pacifier, to the movies, but toddlers are okay even though they can have sudden outbursts of screaming and crying and be inconsolable!? Not fair if you ask me!

So Friday, Mommy and I waited 4 hours in Target for the iPad 2! I wasn't sure that it was worth all of that wait... But wow this thing is awesome! Mommy downloaded a lot of apps for me to play with and look at! I've got books that read to me, my own piano that I can play and play and play! And then there are flash cards of animals that sing and dance for me! I love love love the iPad 2! Everyone should have one of these!

On Wednesday, March 9th, Oliver Michael Rogers was born.... He is my future BFF! I can't wait till we can play together and I can show him how things are done! :)

TNT: I guess I'm labeled sensitive by Mommy and Nana. Just because I cry when this scary monster comes on the TV.... OK and I cry if you talk to me funny... But why does that make me sensitive?!

I'm 5 months old!

I'm 5 months old today! I guess when you turn 5 months old you have to start wearing uncomfortable clothes because Mommy put me in something called Overalls that felt rough and hard!




Not much of a fan, but....I looked pretty cool. Thankfully, Mommy changed me into pjs when we got home from lunch!

Mommy, Daddy and I went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Hinshaw and Aunt Sammie at CJ's Restaurant. I look forward to the day Mommy and Daddy get to pay for me to eat too! (But.. today, Grandpa paid! What a nice guy he is!)

I got these pjs today! They have spaceships, planets, and alien people on them! In this picture me and Ralph are watching a CareBear movie! Those little bear people are pretty entertaining!



Well I am feeling better... just have a cough, but it no longer makes me vomit! I have had quite the case of the #2s today though... Mommy says it's one of the ways to get that nasty virus out of me.... so thats good!

Oh... this is Bryden! Apparently he enjoys sucking on his toes. I haven't discovered those things yet, but it looks like good times!




I don't know why I always fall for this ball! It's fun for awhile, but I always end up frusterated by the fact that I can't get it into my mouth! Grr...

Today begins my first March outside of the womb! I will be 5 months old on Sunday, and next Sunday, Daddy turns 26!

I'm growing bigger and bigger every day! I'm 15 pounds! I do a lot of new things too, such as... laugh frequently (my family is funny.... in more ways than one, if you know what I mean), growing more and more attached to my mama (Sometimes when she is holding me and someone trys to take me, I pull myself back and hold on tight to her... She loves it!) I eat a lot now... breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I love carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, applesauce, pears, and peaches.... just not much of a fan for green beans and peas. (I guess dada doesn't like green veggies, so I must take after him on that!)

I am feeling better since my last post. I have a cough that comes and goes.... but nothing to worry about! I am sleeping much better at night. I was getting hungry in the early hours of the morn, but Mommy figured out a way to keep me up a little later at night, by giving me a nap at 5pm, and to feed me dinner and a baba before we go into my room, so I will eat it all. (I have a bad habit of falling asleep during my bedtime baba.) Anyway, I go to bed around 8pm and don't wake up until 5 or 5:30am (when I am dying of hunger!) ALSO... I no longer need to be swaddled when I sleep. This has been the thing for a few weeks, but I get to sleep in footed jammies now!
