Watch out for THE BUG!!

Did you know there is a bug going around that makes little babies sick?!?! Well, there is! I had it in my throat and tummy!! It was flying around in there causing me lots of problems! It all starts with a fever. On Saturday, my fever was 103. By Sunday morning it wasn't high anymore, but I wasn't eating and Mommy didn't know why. She took me to the doctor on Monday. I weighed 20 lbs even! Look at cute little me!

When the doctor came in, he found that my throat was REALLY red and it had some canker sores in the far back! No wonder I didn't want to eat! It hurt! DUH! I was upset that he couldn't make it better. He just told Mommy to give me Tylenol and some cold stuff to make my throat feel better. Which she did... and it helped a little bit! Then Tuesday I had the tummy ache and diarrhea to top it off! I had, and kind of still do, mean ol' diaper rash! :( My mood was not the best these last few days... Sorry Mommy, for being so fussy!

I am feeling much better today! Me, Owen and Bryden had it... we are hoping no one else catches it! The doctor's office told Owen's Mommy that they are seeing at least 10 kids a day with the same bug!! This is a very mean bug! If you see it... RUN!!!

So a few weeks ago, Mommy told Aunt Erica and Nana that I didn't really have any pajamas for the summer, so what did they do.... ran out and bought me some, of course! So now I have many cool jammies to wear to bed! Check out my Toy Story pjs from Aunt Erica and Jamie!

Here I am in my jammies from Nana! So... when I am excited about something I tend to tense up and clench my fists while shaking them... I just started doing it, and my crazy family finds it to be just hilarious for some reason! They are easily amused I tell ya!

Well, it's almost Father's Day and I am not sure when I will be making my next post so here goes...

Story Time!

Tonight was so much fun! Mommy and Daddy took me to the library for story time! I got to meet some other babies my age... well there were 2 other 8 month olds, a 7 month old, and 3 around 15 months old. The teacher said that each week the room will grow with people as they hear about it! I really like the teacher! She is really nice and fun! We sang nursery rhymes and moved to the words, which made me laugh! Mommy and Daddy are so silly! I can't wait for next Tuesday night! Mommy forgot to take pictures, but she will post some next time. Also, Mommy is really excited because she was given a homework project... she "has" to make a poster, all about me! I " " has, because I should say, gets to, because this is JUST her kinda THING! She loves being crafty and when it's being crafty about me that is 100 times more fun apparently! Also, there is some kind of prize for doing it, so she said she will make THE BEST poster! We shall see... although I have no worries it will look great! She already has plans to get the supplies for it tomorrow and it doesn't even have to be brought in for a month! Oh Mommy....

Fun in the SUN!!

Since Memorial Day, the weather has been great! It's nice and warm and I get to be outside... which I LOVE! I got to break out my awesome Jean diapers! Check 'em out!

We spent the majority of Memorial Day having fun in the SUN! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Hinshaw's for lunch and hung out with the "pooches." Here are my pups that don't like me... well Cheech likes me I think, but Miley is mean to me. Daddy says she is just jealous of me. Mommy says she will like me one day soon, when I am able to run around and play with them. I hope so... I really like watching my doggies play.
So, I have experienced the funnest thing ever!! On Memorial Day evening, Mommy and Daddy took me to this place with tons of people, water, and fountains! It's called a POOL and I just LOVE IT!! As you know, I love baths, so this was just 100 times cooler because my whole body was in the water and I got to kick kick kick like crazy! I love to splash in the water! This morning, Mommy found it hilarious that, in the few short minutes it took her to go to the bathroom, I managed to get my toy stuck around my leg. Real funny, Mom!

But, she made up for it by... taking me to the POOL again!! This time, State Farm pool was closed because of Play Day, so Mommy and Daddy decided we could try Anderson Pool. It was awesome! We got there at 10:30am and didn't see anyone in the big pool, so Daddy thought it was closed. But, Mommy saw kids in the kiddie pool, so she ran in... and sure enough, it was OPEN! I guess the kiddie pool opens before the big people pool! We had tons of fun splashing together! Here are some pictures Mommy took...
