To be... or NOT to be... that is the ?

Today I went to see Dr. Emm for my 4 month check-up! I really like Dr. Emm... I was giving him lots of smiles when he walked in the room. I weigh 13lbs 14oz (30th %), I'm 24 inches long (15th %... sorry Dad), and my head is 16 inches in diameter (45th %). After he looked me over, he told me the best news... I GET TO EAT SOLIDS! He had no rules (which I LOVE) on what to start when. He just said that I need to eat the same thing for 4 days to make sure I have no allergic reactions. As soon as we left the doctor we swung over to Wal-Mart (where it was pretty chaotic from the mad rush to stock up on grocieries before the snow storm traps us in the house for a few days) to pick up baby food and cereal! When Daddy got home I got to try green beans! I thought they were pretty good and I ate from the spoon like a pro! Like I've said before... it doesn't take me long! I look forward to cereal in the morning! :D

I think Daddy hopes eating solids will help me grow bigger and stronger. Mommy thinks I'm going to take after her, but Daddy disagrees. I will do my best to be big and strong, but so far I think I'm left handed like Mommy, have her digestive system, and have been a runt on the growth chart like her. Things can change though..... ;)

SN: Stay safe and warm if we get the foot+ of snow the weather people are saying we will be getting!

...Doesn't take me long!

TNT is...Grabbing things Mommy holds in front of me. I've been able to do this, but I have now pretty much perfected it! It doesn't take me long (as my Grandpa would say (says Mommy))!
...Now if only I could perfect getting the object to my mouth every time!

YTD (Yesterday's New Thing)
I learned how to gargle my spit! Okay, maybe that sounds gross to you, but Mommy and Daddy sure love when I do it! For now, it's my way of talking. Once again, I AMAZED Mommy and Daddy last night when I tried telling him how happy I was to see him when he got home from work. I'm glad they get so much amusement out of my struggle to learn new things. (Doesn't anyone realize I do NOT find it funny how hard this stuff is!)

GO BEARS!

Today is the Bears vs Packers game. Apparently this is a VERY important game because my whole family is excited to watch it and I got put in this pretty cool jersey.... I just don't get why the name "Cutler" is on the back (Shouldn't it say Franzen?!) Oh well.... Mommy thinks I'm pretty cute in it because she took a BILLION pictures of me! Here are just a few....

Practicing my throw! Daddy said Bears will be sending a jet for me if Cutler gets hurt... gotta be ready! :D (And yes Daddy... I am LEFT-handed!)

TNT:
I can JUMP in my Jumperoo! I just figured out how to really get moving in there... it's TONS O' FUN!

My poor baby!

It's Mommy! Jude is not feeling well today, so I am going to write for him... he said it was okay ;)
Wow, I am kind of nervous to write on his blog... I know he's pretty popular...I hope I can live up to his "bloggingness." Here goes...
On Monday, I started babysitting with my mom at her place. It has turned out to be pretty fun and I think Jude will love having kids to grow up with. My mom started babysitting when my sister was little (she's 6 years older than me), so I got to grow up having a house full of kids to play with everyday and I just LOVED it, so I am happy to be able to have Jude experience that too (while I get to love on him at the same time)! Sadly, there are upsides and downsides to being around several kids all day. Upsides: You have many friends starting at a young age, you can learn from eachother, you always have someone to play with. Downsides... someone will occationally steal your toy causing you to get upset with that person, you will do something similar to cause that person to have beef with you... but these things come and go in a matter of minutes, but one that doesn't go quickly enough is that you are bound to get sick when someone else is (oh the glorious power of germs). I would love to walk around with Lysol in me hand and clean everything Jude touches, but even if I did, I don't think I can prevent the evil airborne germs!! >:(
Wednesday morning at 2:45am he woke up coughing a little bit and I worried that he caught something, but it wasn't until late afternoon that I saw more signs that he wasn't feeling good. He had an occational cough and wasn't swallowing all of his spit. Luckily today is my day off (thanks Jill for not having to work, hehe) because he has a full blown cold... coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throat. He slept almost 12 hours last night, but I kept waking up to his occational cough. How is it though, that even when he feels aweful, he is still soooo SWEET! I think he is more sweet than normal! He has been smiling at me every time he sees me, sleeping snuggled up in my arms on the couch, and... when I went to kiss his cheek he turned his head to kiss me on the lips! He is just ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! I love my baby boy more than any words could ever explain! I love being able to make him feel better! :D
