I am feeling better today! My fever broke around 5 pm last night, so I got to go to the fair! I was so excited to get out of the house and see all the people walking around! When we got there and parked we had to walk up to the entrance to pay. We were walking in front of this young couple and their two little kids. When we got up to pay, the couple that was in front of us turned and handed Mommy and Daddy two tickets. They didn't know that their kids were free, so we got in free too!
We started by seeing the pigs. They didn't do much. They snorted... that's about it. Then we walked over to the sheep. They "baaaed" at me, which made me cry! I don't like them much! We took a look in the interstate center. There we got to see some chicks and piglets! They were much cuter! (One chick was sleeping on his side with his feet stretched out and his eyes rolled back... He was really tired!! Right?!?)
We worked our way over to the food court after that. Daddy bought a pork burger from the 4H building and I sat with him while Mommy ran over to get a hot dog and nachos from a concession stand. She came back saying the guy checkin' out must have liked her because he only charged her $2 when it should have cost $6!
When they finished eating, we found a play for kids. It was funny while the squirrel ran around acting silly to start the show, but when the Grandpa guy came out, I didn't like him! He had a big goofy head... he was scary looking. So, after a little bit longer of watching him, Mommy and Daddy decided I was done, so we walked over toward the rides. That was fun to watch the rides go 'round and 'round! We stopped in front of one that played some cool music so me and mama could dance together! I love dancing with my Mommy!
We made our way around to the games. Mommy let me stop at the ducky game where I got to pick 3 ducks out of the water to win a prize! I won a teddy bear!! He is brown, cuddly, and so cute! Daddy named him Barry, and me and Mommy loved the name! When we finally got home it was around 8:45 pm. I was so tired. Mommy laid me on the floor to get my pjs on. She brought out Barry and was holding him over me saying "Barry, Barry, Barry!" It was the funniest thing I have ever seen! Daddy got video of me cracking up laughing!
I had so much fun at the fair! Mommy said I will have even more fun next year, because I will be able to ride the carousel and maybe a pony!
